Photo Scanning, Resizing, Thumbnail & Editing

Original was an 17.78"x13.33" or 2560px x 1920px  File. I resized it.	I then created a 100 x 75px thumbnail image and gave it a gradient edge to blend into the page background

Using Photos to Create a Header

Original was a photo of a framed picture of bamboo.	I removed everything from the photo except the bamboo creating a new graphic with a transparent background.
Original was a photo of a fan on a painted wall.	I used a gradient edge to blend the photo into the darker header background.
The Result. I added the fan and the bamboo graphic to the header centering the business name and information between the two. I made the bamboo graphic appear to glow.
